WordPress Site Hacked Redirecting To Another Site?


Hope you can urgently help me please. One of my customers WORDPRESS website has been hacked, website redirecting to an other video sort of site, and I can’t access WordPress dashboard. Contacted my hosting company HOSTGATOR and they tried to download latest backup which was April 19th but this also infected, what can I do next to get my customers Ecommerce website back, not getting much from my hosting company, they have advice me to pay a third party company they use called SITEGROUND, do I do this or can this site advice , would very much appreciate some advice please , thanking you all in advance.

  1. SiteGround is not going to help – and of course HostGator won’t also. I’d suggest seeing how far backups go – On my host it goes daily, weekly and monthly all the way back for two months. There are services out there that do this.

    Without backups, malware cleanup is the only option. Bright side is now you can likely easily sell them a maintenance plan that includes security and backups (We keep 4 months worth of offsite dailies for my maintenance plan customers).
