Thrive Themes Vs Optimizepress?

Hello all… Any thoughts on THRIVE THEMES vs OPTIMIZEPRESS? I am in process of building a membership site which will provide both free content and paid video lessons – will need to be able to charge for courses individually. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I’m new here. But from what I can tell, I believe I will need something along the lines of OptimizePress for theme/marketing, LearnDash LMS Plugin for course development, and MemberPress membership plugin WORDPRESS for member management. Is this relatively on target?

  1. Last I looked at it, OptimizePress bundled OptimizeMember doesn’t do independent sales of multiple products easily on the same site. The theme could potentially be used with another eCommerce or membership solution. Thrive Themes doesn’t provide a membership solution at all, but you can add an appropriate one. I prefer Thrive Themes over OptimizePress appearance-wise.

I like LearnDash and MemberPress, although I am not using them together (my courses are single-pay, not continuity,so I use LearnDash built in PayPal).

I use OceanWP WordPress Theme (personal preference), although I have a Thrive Architect subscriptions for the plugins so get the themes if I want to use them. I haven’t tried OptimizePress, just haven’t been excited by many of the sites using it.
